Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has called on the people's deputies to unite around the new law on state service.
"The state service should be professional to build a real European country having high living standards," Groysman said in his opening speech at the Thursday plenary meeting.
"This law will allow to form professional corps of the state service able to tackle the tasks and ensure the development of our state," he said.
"I call on everybody to unite around the law despite political colors and take this extremely important decision," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
Groysman also said that the agenda includes a number of important issues, in particular, the ones touching the formation of a transparent system of tariffs for housing-public utility services; provision of free access of consumers to respective information; transparency of state procurements; and development of infrastructure.
The deputies are offered to consider a number of issues in the frames of the decentralization reform touching the expansion of the local self-government bodies' authorities in provision of administrative services.
