Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has noted the importance of further development of partnership relations between the central and local budgets during the setting of the State Budget for 2016.
Taking floor at the 16th meeting of the National Reforms Council on Tuesday, December 8, Groysman said that thanks to the financial decentralization launched last year, the revenues of local and central budgets have grown.
"Those were revolutionary changes touching the development of partnership relations between local budgets and the state budget. Thus, it is very important to protect the system allowing to preserve the partnership, increase of revenues, development of local economic potential. That is also one of the major tasks," he said.
Groysman also pointed out the importance of clear determination of top-priority fields of financing and responsibility for rational and effective use of the state budget funds.
