Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman calls on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to submit the draft state budget for 2016 and the draft Tax Code for consideration of the Ukrainian Parliament next week.
Groysman told this to the People. Hard Talk TV show on the 112 Ukraina TV channel.
"I insist on the Government's submission of the draft state budget, draft Tax Code and relevant draft laws for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada next week. We will immediately start their consideration," he said.
Groysman said that the Government and the Parliament should have held more serious discussion touching the setting the budget for the next year.
"My task is to find the line of the compromise, which would allow adoption of these draft laws. At the same time, this line should take in account two criteria: we have to meet the social contract inside of the country and our international obligations," Groysman said.
He also reminded that last week, the Prime Minister of Ukraine met with the heads of the parliamentary factions and discussed joint cooperation between the Government and the Parliament.
