Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has called on deputy factions and groups to speed up the process of offering their candidates for the seats of members of the Central Election Commission.
"Last week, I addressed the heads of parliamentary factions and groups asking to provide their proposals as to reshuffle of the CEC members," Groysman said at the Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday.
At the same time, he said that only five factions and groups had submitted their proposals, in particular, the Samopomich Association faction, Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association faction, Radical Party faction, Vidrodzhennia Party deputy group and the Volia Narodu deputy group.
"The Petro Poroshenko Bloc and People's Front have not yet done that and I would insist on closing the issue today to send it for consideration of the President," Groysman said.
"Moreover, we still have to close the same issue as to the other yet unformed institutions," he added.
