Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman will insist on close consideration of the draft state budget for 2016 and on searching joint Parliament-Government position on the budget's major parameters.

"We still have a month to work on the budget thoroughly. We have to reflect real situation in the country in it and facilitate stable economic growth next year," he told the press on Monday.

At that, Groysman noted he was not a proponent of "submitting draft state budgets for parliamentary consideration a day before their required enactment." "That is not normal," he said.

Speaking in this context about the introduction of changes in the fiscal system, Groysman said Ukraine required new Tax Code "as current fiscal policy is imperfect, too corrupt and a barrier on the way to developed economy," Groysman said.

Thus, Groysman noted that the Parliament and the Government have to elaborate joint approaches to formation of new tax policy.

"We are destined to find an accurate decision," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said. He also added that the budget parameters will depend on the tax system. Groysman reminded that on Wednesday, November 25, he planned to hold a meeting with the participation of relevant committees and Government members to elaborate respective joint approaches.
