The draft laws required for fulfillement of the Action Plan on liberalization of the visa regime should be considered and adopted against personal responsibility of each people's deputy.
Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Volodymyr Groysman stated this in his opening word at the plenary session meeting of the Parliament on Tuesday.
"I think we all acknowledge that this question is of top priority importance for the Ukrainian society, for Ukrainian citizens. And today we simply must consider and adopt this decision against personal responsibility of each people's deputy," said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Chairperson of the Parlaiment noted that work in relevant committees had preceded the consideration of the draft laws at second reading. "[They] have arrived at a consolidated position, and I have a hope that these motions will consolidate the session hall today and we will justify expectations the society has today," said Volodymyr Groysman.
Also, Volodymyr Groysman announced that Tuesday's agenda included the question of the rent on natural gas, prolongation of the moratorium on sale of farmland, local elections in Mariupol, dismissal of certain judges, and a draft law on scientific activities, scientific and technological activities.Volodymyr Groysman called on all deputies to "proper constructive work". "We must move aside all things that separate us and we must unite around important decisions that Ukrainian citizens expect from us," he said.
