Asked about the reduction of the number of parliamentarians, Groysman reminded that respective e-petition had been received from the President of Ukraine.
According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, "certain optimization of the number of the Ukrainian people's deputies may take place. However, that is a constitutional issue requiring political consensus of all key political forces."
At that he noted that "we may speak about optimization, however, when it should happen can be decided only by factions of all political parties at the Ukrainian Parliament" as respective decision requires at least 300 votes.
