On Thursday, The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine O. Moroz met with Pupils of general education institutions in Kyiv, and the Kyiv and Poltava regions born on 24 August.

 According to O.Moroz , for the 16 years Ukraine has presented itself as an independent State, it is recognized all over the world and "holds a leading position in settlement of geopolitical issues". However, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that "not all the study books objectively represent" modern history.

O.Moroz called for common work on implementation of European democratic values and standards in Ukraine, for responsibility for State prospective. He noted that "life is the main right of a person" and it should be supplemented by the right of work, access to quality education, provision of social guaranties.

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also highly appreciated quality of education of Ukrainian pupils and students, emphasizing that "we have truly brilliant students", which is rcognized all over the world.

O.Moroz wished much success to the present people, stating that "one should perfect himself" first of all.

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine presented 16 pupils with the decorations of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
