Dear citizens!

This week Ukraine will hold local election. We will elect new authorities for several forthcoming years. They will tackle everyday problems and provide the development of our territorial communities.

The authorities are responsible for the operation of our kindergartens and schools, hospitals and laboratories, for repair and construction of roads, etc.

In the frames of the decentralization, last year, we managed to enable local self-government bodies to grow increasingly. This year, thanks to financial decentralization, local budgets grew by 40%. The Regional Development Fund started its work for the first time having allocated UAH 3 billion for the development of regions.

The Ukrainian Parliament has already adopted a number of laws that expand authorities of local self-government bodies in the field of city building. We expect to pass wide authorities in administrative services market. And that is only the beginning.

We have eventually started the European system of governing in our country, which is based on strong self-governing.

Soon, we have to approve the decentralization amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine to ensure the inevitability of the process of formation of full local self-government.

Those whom we will elect on October 25 will be responsible for work in new conditions.

I call on everyone to make the choice consciously and responsibly. I call on you to give your votes to those candidates you feel to be able and ready to work thoroughly in the interests of the communities: to revive villages, develop cities, build European Ukraine the very bottom towards the very top.

Making a responsible choice we create our future, the future of European Ukraine that starts with new responsible authorities in every community. I believe this is our future.

Glory to Ukraine!
