Groysman calls on parliamentary committees, Government and experts to do their best to prepare draft laws on introduction of visa-free regime for second reading

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has cold on the parliamentary committees, Government and experts to combine efforts on introduction of the visa-free regime in second reading during the first plenary week in November.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said this at the working meeting dedicated to preparation of the draft laws aimed at the implementation of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan with the EU for Ukraine.

The chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament reminded that on October 8, 2015, the deputies considered an approved in first reading the package of the abovementioned draft laws. He said that the draft laws required additional adaptation for second reading taking an account remarks and proposals expressed at the meeting.

He offered to consider the calendar schedule of preparation of the draft laws for second reading at the session hall. According to the Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament on October 22, people's deputies would have to submit their proposals to the text of the draft laws to be considered during the first plenary week of November. He said the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine would have to send all the information to the European Commission about the state of the consideration of respective draft laws before November 9. At the same time, respective report of the European Commission would have to be provided before December 15, 2015.
