Balta celebrates its 489th birthday. Despite its age, your city proves its youth through its desire of changes and reforms.
Today your city is one of the first Ukrainian population centers to take part in the decentralization of power and local self-government.
Balta was one of the first cities to establish a unified territorial community.
Balta is a great, hardworking, multinational and multi-language family.
This day I wish you peace and welfare, sound health and happiness, inspiration and belief.
