Groysman: parliamentarians have enough information to prevent appointment of discredited judges

The Parliament has enough information to avoid the appointment of judges, who discredited themselves, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said that opening the Tuesday plenary meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Groysman thanked the society for its attention to the process of appointment of judges by the Verkhovna Rada.

Groysman thanked the Security Service of Ukraine "for the provision of reliable information as to some judges, who took the side of the enemy during the occupation and are currently put" on the lists for further appointment.

"I have once again been reassured that the proposal to attract the society to the process of supervision proved to be successful and that this process is absolutely expedient. I believe we will do our best to avoid the appointment of judges, who had discredited themselves," Groysman said.
