"A fundamental task is to create a package of changes able to renew modern education," Groysman said taking floor at the meeting of the National Reforms Council on Monday.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada called "institutional weakness" of Ukraine a "key problem." He added that it entailed inability to adequately respond to the challenges, in particular, in the educational sector. According to Groysman, the situation in the system of preschool, school, technical and higher education does not facilitate proper professional training of young people.
Groysman offered to hold "an education day" in the walls of the Ukrainian Parliament in November — to consider a set of legislative acts to trigger substantial changes in the sector of education.
