Speaking of the measures aimed at the introduction of the e-Parliament at the meeting of the conciliatory council, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman announced plans for upcoming technical modernization of the Parliament, which would allow holding "online meetings" of the committees, shift to e-document flow in the lawmaking process and ensure maximum possible transparency and quality of Verkhovna Rada's activity.

In words of the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, current paper-based document flow system "first of all consumes lots of resources, funds," "secondly, makes us ineffectively use labor resources," "thirdly, the Parliament is still very nontransparent due to the use of outdated technologies."

In this context, Groysman expressed hope that such technological changes will be introduced in three months. Groysman added that "technically we are supported by our European partners" — the European Parliament mission.
