Groysman: "Constitutional team" able to take effective decisions that correspond to challenges Ukraine currently facing

Current members of the Constitutional Commission can take effective and quality decisions to facilitate deepest possible reformation of all sectors of life and consolidate Ukraine, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada and Head of the Constitutional Commission Volodymyr Groysman closing the plenary meeting of the Constitutional Commission on Friday.

He said the draft law on introduction of decentralization amendments into the Constitution of Ukraine would be submitted for consideration of the Head of state "as soon as possible" after adding them with required technical-legal remarks that would correspond to the preliminary conclusions of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) as well as with specific ideas of some members of the Constitutional Commission as to the amendments that were not included in the text of the document supported today.

Groysman expressed opinion that the Constitutional Commission with the assistance of partners from the Venice Commission will successfully elaborate amendments into the Basic Law as to "deep reformation" of all fields of country's activity in compliance with challenges Ukraine is facing now.
