Ukrainians need signal as to perspective of membership of the European Union and introduction of visa-free regime.
Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said this at the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Senate and Sejm of the Republic of Poland in Vilnius on Thursday, May 28.
Groysman expressed hope that Lithuania and Poland will continue their support to European aspirations of Ukraine.
Groysman said the Ukrainian authorities and citizens of our state "acknowledge whole importance and responsibility of today's moment" and assured that the President, Government and the Parliament can take responsible decisions and embody them.
He also noted Ukraine "is absolutely open and ready for application of European experience."
As earlier reported, on May 28-30, Groysman is staying on a visit to the Republic of Lithuania to take part in the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Senate and Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
