Groysman: coordination of relations between Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland particularly important

Coordination of relations between Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland is currently particularly important.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said this at the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Senate and Sejm of the Republic of Poland in Vilnius on Thursday, May 28.

Groysman said that ten years ago, when the city of Lutsk was picked to found the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Senate and Sejm of the Republic of Poland "no one could even imagine the challenges we are facing today." "We have to be dynamic and efficient," the Head of the Verkhovna Rada said.

During her speech Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Loreta Grauziniene pointed to the importance of further development of the dialogue inside the European Union as to European integration of Ukraine.

She also expressed confidence of successful reforms in Ukraine.

Marshal of the Senate of Republic of Poland Bogdan Borusewicz said Ukraine is extremely important for Poland, Lithuania and whole Europe.

As earlier reported, on May 28-30, Groysman is staying on a visit to the Republic of Lithuania to take part in the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Senate and Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
