In view of numerous appeals of mass media organizations as to the size of salary of people's deputies of Ukraine, we inform:
In compliance with Section 1, Article 20 of the Law of Ukraine “On status of people's deputy of Ukraine” guarantees of labor rights, inter alia, as to salary of people's deputies of Ukraine, are set by the Constitution of Ukraine, this Law, Codes of Labor Laws of Ukraine, other laws of Ukraine.
The people's deputies salary is regulated by Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine “On status of people's deputy of Ukraine” and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 510 “On remuneration of labor of managerial employees of state bodies” dated June 30, 2005.
The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 43 “Issue of labor remuneration of members of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, heads of central executive bodies and other state bodies in 2015” dated February 14, 2015 rules that in 2015, monthly salary of people's deputies of Ukraine is accrued in size of fixed official salary of members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which is now UAH 6,109.
At present, a draft resolution of Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on remuneration of labor of people's deputies of Ukraine is being elaborated in compliance with governmental resolution No. 43 “On remuneration of labor of members of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, heads of central executive bodies and other state bodies in 2015.”
Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman confirmed that no decision that would raise salary to people's deputies is being prepared.
