The Law offers immortalization of victory over Nazism in World War II of 1939-1945 through setting forms of such immortalization; determines monuments of World War II, declares May 8 as the Day of Memory and Conciliation, introduces amendments into Article 73 of the Labor Code of Ukraine where May 9 is declared the Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II (Victory Day). Besides, the Law invalidates the Law of Ukraine “On immortalization of Victory in World War II of 1941-1945.”
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2539.
