Counsellor to the President of Ukraine on humanitarian issues, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe Mykola Tomenko met with Counsellor to the President of Georgia Tengiz Pkhaladze and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine Mikheil Ukleba.
The Parties discussed the issues of cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia, particularly, in the part of inter-parliamentary relations and joint programmes in the humanitarian sphere – education, tourism, etc.
Participants of the meeting considered the situation concerning implementation of joint environmental projects and active cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Georgia.
