It is necessary to restore trust in banking system, since no state can function without its efficient operation.
Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oksana Syroid stressed this, opening parliamentary hearings entitled: “On ways to stabilize banking system of Ukraine” on Wednesday.
O.Syroid reminded that the Verkhovna Rada took the decision to hold parliamentary hearings entitled: “On ways to stabilize banking system of Ukraine” on January 15, 2015.
Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said that “the condition of banking system is one of the key indicators of mutual trust between the state and society.” According to her, the present-day instability of banking system is a result of “ruination of confidential relations between a citizen and the state.”
O.Syroid believes that the main reasons for the current crisis of banking system “pertain to the attitude of the state to one of the fundamental human rights – the right of ownership.”
Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada is convinced that maintenance of efficient operation of courts is an extremely important issue to restore trust in banking system. “Until there is no fair court, the right of ownership as well as other rights will not be protected,” she stressed.
