Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure and Support to Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine considered issues on changing committees' competence

At the February 11 meeting, the Committee members upheld the suggestion of the Committee on Science and Education on including the issue "on applied scientific research in the agricultural sphere" to the competence of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.

The draft law on amendments to article 15-3 of the Law "On state regulation of production and trade in ethanol, cognac, fruit, alcoholic beverages and tobacco" re prohibition of the sale of beer (except nonalcoholic), alcohol, soft drinks, table wine in the buildings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine" (Reg. No. 1770), and draft resolutions on amendments to the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On electing chairpersons, first deputy chairperson, secretaries, members of Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation" re occupying a vacancy of a chairperson of the Committee on Economic Policy (Reg. No. 1494), on establishing an Interim Investigation Commission on investigating unlawful acts of leadership of the anti-terrorist operation (Reg. No. 1815), and on dismissing Petrenko P.D. from the post of the Minister of Justice of Ukraine (Reg. No. 1520) were also discussed at the meeting.
