The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re bringing legislation in the sphere of seed raising and crop growing in line with European and international requirements)

The bill (Reg. No. 1460-1) suggests refining: definition of certain terms on seed raising; powers of bodies in this sphere of social relations; grounds for acquiring the right to produce and use seeds and planting material; as well as requirements on commercialization and certification of seeds and planting material.   

This document is a regulatory act that aims to bring national legislation in the field of seed raising and crop growing in line with the EU requirements.
