The Committee on Science and Education recommends that the Parliament adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Education" (re establishing a supplement to salary of pedagogical workers)

The bill (Reg. No. 1301) suggests introducing a norm on establishing a 20% supplement of base salary to pedagogical workers.

The Committee members spoke in favour of such a stand, taking into account a complicated social and economic situation which greatly influences living standards.
