The bill (Reg. No. 1317) stipulates establishing general criteria for determining audiovisual products which can be a threat to national security of Ukraine, particularly those products that praise armed groups of the country-occupant; prohibiting public use of such products; and imposing sanctions on economic entities which will ignore such a prohibition.

The Committee has scrutinized 78 proposals to the bill, referred by the subjects of legislative initiative during preparation of the bill for the second reading. 17 suggestions were rejected.

Adoption of the bill will contribute to strengthening cultural and informational space of Ukraine in the course of Russian aggression and attempts to destabilize the situation.
