Members of the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision participated in the scientific and practical conference "The problems of internally displaced persons in employment sphere and role of social partners and the State Employment Service in their settlement"

MPs Serhii Draiuk and Oleksandr Drozdyk, leadership of the Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Science and Education, State Employment Service, representatives of social partners, scientists and public representatives participated in the event on January 30.
The aim of the conference is to elaborate ways and instruments of social and labour re-integration of internally displaced persons and to find new ways for promoting employment of these persons and creating new workplaces.
In their speeches, participants stressed the need to create appropriate conditions for implementing economic activity of internally displaced persons, stimulating employers in preserving and creating new workplaces, using flexible employment forms, etc.
The need to organize professional training of internally displaced persons and enhance their qualifications was also discussed.
Program for employment and professional training of internally displaced persons for 2015-2016, elaborated by the Ministry of Social Policy, was presented at the event.
Chairperson of the subcommittee of the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision Serhii Draiuk claimed the Committee is considering all legislative initiatives on ensuring social guarantees of internally displaced persons and their social adaptation in a new place of residence.
The people's deputy claimed the Committee is ready to cooperate with society and central executive authorities on improving legal and regulatory framework aimed at increasing mobility and employment of internally displaced persons and ensuring their social protection.
