Chairperson of the Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Serhii Kiral held a working meeting with experts of German Advisory Group on Economic Reforms in Ukraine

Within the framework of the meeting on January 28, German experts Ricardo Giucci and Thomas Otten presented the research “Accounting report and accountability of small business in Ukraine” and presented their vision of deregulation in Ukraine. Apart from that, experts made several recommendations to harmonize legislation within the framework of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

Participants of the working meeting stressed that the state critically needs to implement industrial policy and systematically continue deregulation by sectors, thus, establishing favorable investment climate. The importance of the rule of law was emphasized.

Special attention was attached to the discussion of prospects of development of industrial parks in Ukraine, as well as attracting investors. Research results and recommendations were referred for elaboration and further use in the course of the Committee’s work

Next advice meeting is scheduled for the first week of March 2015.
