Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hopes the MPs will refer the bill on lifting impunity of the people’s deputies and judges to the Constitutional Court at the beginning of February.

“I met with leaders of deputy factions today and we discussed issues, including in regard to deputy impunity,” said Volodymyr Groysman, responding to journalists’ questions during the briefing on Monday. 

Volodymyr Groysman expressed an idea that this issue will be considered in February during the first plenary week.

He expressed hope that deputies will work actively, take the decision, and refer the respective bill “on lifting the unlimited deputy and judge’s impunity” to the Constitutional Court.”
