The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements re regulating the issue on responsibility for committing family violence

The bill (Reg. No. 0920) was elaborated aiming to regulate the issue on responsibility for committing family violence.

The bill suggests excluding from article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements a fine and correctional labour, leaving community service or administrative detention, and stipulating a possibility to a compulsory delivery of a person to a court if such person evades appearing to the internal affairs body or court.
