Committee members considered two bills registered under No. 1175 and No. 1175-1.

Both bills aim at introducing grounds for dismissing military men that are students or aspirants of full-time education from military service during the special period.

The bill (Reg. No. 1175) suggests supplementing clause "ґ" of part eight of article 26 of the applicable law with a new provision.

Bill (Reg. The Committee recommends that following the results of consideration in the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada should adopt in the first reading and in entirety the draft law (Reg. No. 1175-1), having provided the following version of paragraph two of section I of the bill:

“Military men that are students or aspirants of full-time education and were enrolled to military service during mobilization for the special period shall be also dismissed from military service. Such persons can continue military service if they state the respective willingness.”
