The Committee on National Security and Defence recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law "On Organisation of Defence Planning"

In order to improve the present system of defence planning in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations, special purpose law-enforcement bodies and some other authorities, and to comply periods of defence planning with periods of planning economic and social development of Ukraine, the bill (Reg. No. 1547) suggests introducing a new version of the Law "On Organisation of Defence Planning".     

The bill suggests specifying tasks of defence planning and authorities of objects and subjects of defence planning, supplementing the list and content of documents of defence planning, establishing cooperation between types of planning, and specifying tasks of defence review and its organization.
