on restoration of rights of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv to exercise local self-government through regional city councils and their executive bodies (Reg. No. 1229), referred by the people’s deputy of Ukraine O.Yu. Tretiakov;
on restoration of regional councils (Reg. No. 1229-1), referred by the peoples deputies of Ukraine I.V. Lutsenko and V.Ye. Ivchenko;
on revival of provisions on regional councils (Reg. No. 1229-2), referred by the people’s deputies of Ukraine Yu.V. Levchenko and A.Yu. Illienko;
on restoration of regional councils in the city of Kyiv and distribution of powers between them and Kyiv city council (Reg. No. 1229-3), referred by the people’s deputies of Ukraine L.O. Yemets, V.F. Stashuk and H.H. Kryvosheia.
Committee members noted that the bills include some non-alternative provisions since they propose legislative settlement of the issues that are in fact different.
With consideration of all the abovementioned, the Committee took the decision to set up a working group for elaboration of one adjusted bill on the basis of the previously mentioned bills.
The Committee decided to invite the people’s deputies of Ukraine, authors of the mentioned bills, representatives of state power, bodies of local self-government of the city of Kyiv, the All-Ukrainian associations of bodies of local self-government, representatives of the public, as well as experts and other interested persons to participate in the activity of the working group.
