The Committee for Informatization and Communications upheld the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Financial Services and State Regulation of Financial Services Markets” and considered several other bills

 During its meeting on January 14, 2015, the Committee considered four bills.

Committee members did not uphold and insisted that the Verkhovna Rada should recommit the draft law on amendments to the Law “On State Procurement” (re refining the system of state procurement and e-procurement) to the subject of economic initiative.

The Committee did not uphold the draft law on amendments to several laws of Ukraine (re address postal notification about the privileges and other types of social assistance to people with limited mobility and other socially vulnerable groups of population) (Reg. No. 1181).   

Committee members did not uphold the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” (re identification of television and radio programmes and/or programmes, -advertisement created at the expense of budgetary funds) due to incompliance of its terminology with the applicable Ukrainian legislation, particularly, the laws “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” and “On Advertisement”.

The Committee upheld the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Financial Services and State Regulation of Financial Services Markets” re disclosure of information (Reg. No. 1545). The bill aims to legislatively settle the issue of access of consumers of financial services market to information on the activity of financial institutions.
