70 draft laws were considered at the Committee's meeting. Corruptogenic factors were discovered in the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (re ensuring protection of religious and other rights of the citizens) (Reg. No. 1506). In their words, this document does not comply with the anti-corruption legislation.
The Committee adopted a decision to create a working group on elaboration of the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine in the sphere of corruption prevention and counteraction regarding specification of their separate provisions, and ensuring activity of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, national agency on corruption prevention, and prosecution bodies. The issue was instructed to be discussed by Chairperson of the Verkhovbna Rada Volodymyr Groysman.
Under the Committee's decision of December 24, 2014, on the need to prepare a concept and the bill on state funding of political parties, the Committee formed a working group on elaborating the respective draft law. Moreover, the Committee plans to hold hearings in February, 2105, entitled "Reforming legislation in the sphere of financing political parties".
A hearing was granted to the report on the Committee's work during the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation.
The Committee also approved the work plan for February-July of 2105.
