The Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening social protection of internally displaced people

During the meeting on January 14, Committee members considered the bill registered under No. 1496. Chairperson of the Committee Liudmyla Denisova presented the document.
The respective amendments are to be made to the laws “On Population Employment”, “On Mandatory State Social Insurance in Case of Unemployment” and “On Securing Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced People”.
Committee members noted that the bill aims to strengthen social protection of unemployed and heighten interest of employees in giving employment to the registered unemployed persons from among forcedly displaced people who moved from the temporary occupied territory; the ATO area; or emergency zone.
