The Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament adopt as a basis the draft resolution on revising provisions of the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and its Protocol

During the January 14 meeting, the Committee considered several bills for their compliance with the law of the European Union, particularly:

the draft resolution on revising provisions of the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and its Protocol (Reg. No. 1668);

the draft law on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Principles of State Language Policy" (re ensuring the status of the Ukrainian language as the only state language and equality of regional languages or languages of minorities) (Reg. No. 1148); 

the draft law on amendments to the Air Code of Ukraine (re subjects of state aviation) (Reg. No. 1542); 

Having granted a hearing to the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the draft resolution on revising provisions of the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and its Protocol, the Committee adopted a decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt it as a basis.
