The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sports recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to several laws of Ukraine (re volunteer activity)

The bill (Reg. No. 1408) suggests granting a full right to volunteer activity to all organizations and institutions; abolishing the possibility of depriving legal entities of the right to doing volunteer activity through the courts; eliminating age limits for volunteers; and withdrawing from the central body of executive power in the sphere of volunteer activity, etc.  

The Committee Chair Artur Palatnyi stressed that the Committee intends to involve representatives of volunteer organizations in further refinement of the bill in order to reach such version of the document that would ensure a more efficient volunteer activity.
