The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On amendments to clause 3 of section VIII of “Final Provisions” of the Law “On Securing Implementation of Housing Rights of Dormitory Residents” (re prolonging moratorium on alienation of dormitories)

The legislative act prolongs moratorium on alienation of dormitories (except for transfer into communal property of respective city, township, village councils), that are controlled and managed by enterprises, organizations, or establishments regardless of the ownership form, or that entered statutory funds of joint-stock or collective companies, to eleven years (by October 1, 2019).      

Respective bill was registered under No. 1505-1.
