The Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations considered the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 and several bills connected with its adoption

During its meeting on December 24, Committee members considered the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 (Reg. No. 1000), as well as the bills connected with its adoption and pertaining to the Committee’s jurisdiction. In particular:

the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re inevitability of punishment of persons remaining on the temporary occupied territory of Ukraine or in the region of anti-terrorist operation, and refinement of confiscation procedures (Reg. No. 1569);

the draft law on amending and recognizing as invalid several legislative acts of Ukraine (Reg. No. 1577); 

the draft law on reforming mandatory state social insurance and legalization of labour remuneration fund (Reg. No. 1573).

Apart from this, Committee members upheld the Address of the Office of Human Rights Commissioner on increasing funding in view of broadening powers of the Office, as well as the draft Resolution on the Address of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to organizations and inter-parliamentary assemblies on freeing Ukrainian pilot and people's deputy of Ukraine of the eighth convocation Nadiia Viktorivna Savchenko (Reg. No. 1584).
