The bill stipulates temporary introduction (for the period of 12 months starting from January 1, 2015) of additional import duty as a special kind of duty in the understanding of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Additional import duty shall be imposed on the goods that are imported into the customs territory of Ukraine in the customs regime of import (i.e. for free circulation on the customs territory of Ukraine), irrespective of the country of origin.
The law specifies rate of levy and the list of goods that are not subject to additional import duty.
