The Committee on Culture and Spirituality considered the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 and several other bills

During its meeting, the Committee on Culture and Spirituality considered the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 and several other bills.

Within the scope of its authorities, the Committee considered the draft Law of the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 (Reg. No. 1000), the draft Law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine (re reforming inter-budget relations) (Reg. No. 1557), and the draft Law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and several other laws of Ukraine (re tax reform) (Reg. No. 1578), referred by the Government.

Following the results of discussion, Committee members took the decision to recommend the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt the abovementioned bills as a basis with consideration of certain Committee’s suggestions and remarks.

The Committee also considered and upheld the draft Law on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re protection of television and radio information space of Ukraine (Reg. No. 1317).

Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Culture of Ukraine Viacheslav Kyrylenko, Deputy Culture Minister, Deputy Chair of Ukrainian State Film Agency, leaders of departments of ministries of culture and finance, and representatives of clerisy were in attendance at the Committee’s meeting.
