The Committee on Foreign Affairs held an extended meeting with participation of specialized ministries and departments of Ukraine on problematic issues of Ukrainian-Russian relations

Representatives of the Apparatus of the National Security and Defence Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Security Service and State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the Committee members granted a hearing to the Government of Ukraine on problematic issues of Ukrainian-Russian relations at the present stage. A constructive discussion of the issues on possible negative consequences of denunciation of the Friendship Agreement, possibility of introducing property sanctions against the Russian Federation, and recognizing the Russian Federation as the aggressor-country was held.
