As it was mentioned during the meeting, it means opening the State Registrar of rights to immovable property and the obligation of providing legal entities with information on final beneficiaries. For information on the abovementioned issues, it was decided to invite Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko to the next meeting of the Committee.
The Committee adopted a decision to grant a hearing to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Prosecutor General, and Minister of Justice on January 14, 2015, regarding the status of investigating corruption and economic crimes in Ukraine of the former government.
MPs upheld the suggestion of Chairperson of the Committee Yehor Soboliev on the address of the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on forming the Contest commission on appointing the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the Committee members granted a hearing to Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia Giorgi Baramidze, who is on a working visit in Ukraine. He spoke about Georgian experience in corruption counteraction and reforming the law-enforcement bodies.
