The purpose of the event – consideration of a complex of problems associated with providing access of residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to information resources of Ukrainian broadcasters, print media, Internet sites.
Except for people’s deputies the Committee meeting will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine, the State Committee for television and radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Ministry of defense of Ukraine, NSDC of Ukraine, the National Council of Ukraine on television and radio, BRT Concern, Donetsk and Lugansk regional military and civilian administrations, regional mass-media.
Following the on-site meeting there will be worked out comprehensive proposals to the Verkhovna Rada, Government and other competent public authorities to urgently resolve issues of information security in the region, financial and technical support of high-quality distribution of analog and digital signal of Ukrainian radio and television.
