Head of the Needs Assessment Mission of the European Parliament / President of the European Parliament (2002-2004) Pat Cox will meet with participants in the project on modeling of work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine entitled "League of Young Parliamentarians" (Velyka Zhytomyrska street, room 703).
Modeling of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is an intellectual game that simulates major principles of work of the Ukrainian Parliament and the mechanisms of the lawmaking process. A total of 54 young people from all the regions of Ukraine, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the cities of Sevastopol and Kyiv will have three days to learn the format of work at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine using the example of drafting a law touching Openness of local councils in terms of e-governance.
