“Ukraine is ready to expand cooperation with Estonia on the international scene,” -- Dmytro Razumkov

During his official visit to the Republic of Estonia, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu and expressed his gratitude for the inclusion of the Ukrainian issue in Estonia's foreign policy priorities.

“We do indeed feel strong support from our Estonian partners.  Of course, there are issues that require further ample discussion. These are greater capabilities in the world arena, the Eastern Partnership issue, and the so-called Three Seas Initiative. All of them need and already are in sort of ‘break-in’ period in line ministries and embassies, but it is important that the cooperation in these areas also take place at the inter-parliamentary level,” the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized.

Among areas of cooperation of high priority Dmytro Razumkov also called the digitalization of Ukraine’s public administration.

“A summit dedicated to this topic will be held in Ukraine in June. I hope that it will be held at the highest possible technological level and our colleagues from Estonia would visit this event. You have greatly succeeded in creating a truly unique system, and this experience is very important for Ukraine in today's world,” the VRU Chairman stated.

In addition, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed his gratitude for the principled position of Estonia upon the non-recognition of Russian Federation passports issued on the territory of the temporarily occupied lands of Ukraine.
