The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, the First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko, the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk and the Secretary General of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Viacheslav Shtuchnyi paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes during the Revolution of Dignity.
“Dignity and freedom are our values. We have defended and will continue to defend the free future! We remember everyone who gave their lives for the sake of Ukraine,” said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
“Ten years ago, the Ukrainian people demonstrated their determination to become part of the European family. The whole world heard our national idea. The whole world was amazed by the courage and resilience of Ukrainians. The Maidan became a driver of change. We defended our dignity and freedom. During the Orange Revolution. During the Revolution of Dignity. We are defending it now,” said the First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko.
“We must always remember that Ukraine and our Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred paid a too high price defending the European values of human rights, dignity, equality, freedom and democracy, our right to be an integral part of the European Union as a family of free nations,” stressed Olena Kondratiuk, the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
