On Thursday, 19 October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted important decisions.
In particular, as a basis:
№ 8371 — proposed to amend certain laws of Ukraine, providing for provisions to prevent religious organisations from operating in Ukraine, the governing centre (management) of which is located outside Ukraine in a state that carries out armed aggression against Ukraine.
№ 9656-d — proposed a temporary doubling of the corporate income tax rate from 18% to 36% for banks, that will provide additional budget revenues of approximately UAH 10 billion to finance military spending.
№ 10000 — the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024 was approved.
