On Thursday, September 21, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions, including:
10054 — appealed to international organizations, parliamentary assemblies, governments and parliaments of foreign countries to condemn the illegal elections held by the russian federation in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and to recognize as illegitimate all authorities of the russian federation whose members were "elected" during the illegal elections.
IN GENERAL:
9610 — improved the legislative regulation of the exercise of rights and freedoms of persons belonging to national minorities, updated the definition of the term "national minorities", provided for the possibility of using languages of national minorities in advertising, during public, cultural, artistic, entertainment events, etc. The Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine" on Certain Issues of Realization of Rights and Freedoms of Persons Belonging to National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine is a European integration law aimed at implementing one of the seven recommendations of the European Commission.
AS BASIS:
9269-d — proposed amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction" regarding politically exposed persons. The adoption of the act is in line with Ukraine's commitments to EU integration.
9422 — proposed to improve the state regulation of the financial services market, in particular, to limit microloan rates to 1% per day.
