The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko met with representatives of the parliaments of Europe and the world within the framework of the event, where the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea hosted a delegation of the U4U parliamentary network.
“Ukraine has clear borders recognised by the world in 1991. We will not exchange our lands for anything! And we will go to the end, despite any voices of the Western press,” the First Vice-Speaker stressed.
Oleksandr Korniienko invited the countries to join in certain areas of Crimea’s reconstruction. In particular, the Crimean Platform Summit spoke in detail about the Strategy for Economic Recovery of Crimea, which will connect it with Europe, attract international networks, promote tourism and IT clusters, and return people and businesses.
“It is a matter of honour for us not only to liberate it, but also to support all the forces that are now in the occupied Crimea and continue to defend the idea of Ukraine and the freedom of the Crimean Tatar people, even underground,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
